The UAE Ministry of Education supports GESS and plays a vital role in promoting the event to education professionals across the country and to the GCC. With their Strategy 2010-2020 the UAE Ministry of Education isaiming to accomplish a score of 10/10 in various educational infrastructure projects in ICT, health & safety, curriculum reform, facilities development and several projects to serve students with special needs

GESS is  was visited by HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and HRH Princess Haya Bint Al Hussein. This shows the country’s commitment to the development of education within the region it also demonstrates their confidence in GESS and GEF.
