Besa

BESA is a trade association. Trade associations are organisations which represent a particular industry, but do not supply products themselves. They promote and provide information about their member companies and are a good source of information and advice about their respective industries.

BESA has over 300 members which include manufacturers and distributors of equipment, materials, books, consumables, furniture, technology, ICT hardware and digital content - all to the education market.

BESA members supply to UK and international markets, across the curriculum and at all levels from early years to FE and vocational training. The total turnover of BESA members is in excess of £1.8 billion.

Worlddidac Association

Worlddidac Association is the global trade association for companies providing products for education and training at all levels. We are the only globally operating organization in this business sector.

Worlddidac has currently 180 member companies and organizations from 43 countries on 5 continents. They are grouped into the following categories:

Manufactures and suppliers (70%)
Dustributors & Dealers (5%)
Publishers (20%)
National trade Associations (5%)

Worlddidac is also the organizer of the bienal WORLDDIDAC BASEL exhibition and trade show, which is the most international event in the trade with educational supplies.

Didacta

As a trade association, we represent the interests of the education industry, both in Germany and abroad. We have more than 225 members from across all levels of education. 

We promote the application of high-quality teaching and learning aids, furnishings and equipment designed to meet the unique needs of all learning environments.

On behalf of our members, we take active part in the political debate concerning the reform of the education systems. We provide information and advice about the education sector and the respective industries.

We are the main conceptual partner of the trade fair "didacta - die Bildungsmesse / the education trade fair", the world's largest event of this kind. It attracts up to 110,000 visitors every year. We also facilitate the participation of German companies at international trade fairs.
