GESS Dubai 2021 change dates

GESS Dubai 2021 – The Trusted Education Event for the MENA Region Moves to November 2021

The GESS Dubai exhibition and conference has been the focal point for education in the Middle East and beyond for 14 years.

Organised in partnership with the Ministry of Education, GESS Dubai delivers an audience of over 10,000 educational professionals and 550 educational suppliers to network, learn and do business.

There is no escaping the impact Covid-19 has had on teachers, students, schools and suppliers the world over. The education landscape has changed beyond recognition since our last edition, as have face-to-face events. The health and safety of our stakeholders will always be our highest priority and will guide every decision we make in the planning and execution of the event. We feel that we would not be able to provide the kind of onsite experience that the education community deserves which is why we have made the difficult decision to postpone GESS Dubai from March 2021 to Sunday 14 November to Tuesday 16 November 2021.

The decision to postpone the event has been taken in consultation with all stakeholders, partners and the wider education community and has the full support of the UAE Ministry of Education.

“As long term partners of GESS Dubai, the UAE Ministry of Education have always been keen on delivering the best event possible to match the value it adds to the education sector both in the Middle East and globally. GESS Dubai is important to the Ministry of Education as it is to educators from both the public and private sector, governmental and private stakeholders, as well as other ministries of education in the region. Due to the ongoing concerns over the Coronavirus (COVID-19), and because the health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors, partners and stakeholders is our first and foremost priority we feel that postponing GESS Dubai to 14 – 16 November 2021 will enable us to provide the experience and quality expected at our event.” H.E Dr. Rabaa Alsumaiti, Assistant Undersecretary of Quality Development Sector.

Matt Thompson, Project Director for the global portfolio of GESS exhibitions said that “While GESS Dubai 2021 may look and feel different from previous editions, we want to reassure you that we will be delivering ROI to our customers whilst ensuring that we meet local safety standards at the event. GESS Dubai is the meeting place for the entire education industry and we look forward to welcoming the education community to GESS Dubai 2021”.

The world-renowned conference content at GESS Dubai is free of charge and CPD accredited, and will feature 8 tracks and more than 250 speakers. Bringing together engaging industry keynotes from around the world and influential local practitioners to present a combination of inspirational talks and dynamic, hands-on workshops, the conference gives attendees exposure to the latest trends, best practice as well as the latest tech in the pursuit of excellence in their classrooms.

The exhibition sits alongside the conference providing access to the products and solutions that meet the needs of the modern classroom transforming the way students learn. With educators from early years, K-12 and higher ed institutions looking to network, discover the latest educational solutions and do business. The event also welcomes decision makers from regional government ministries as well as distributors.
