On the same basis as the AI ​​School, their objective is to train profiles who are prohibited, often because of an unsuitable educational background, from entering digital professions. It is therefore unnecessary to have a diploma or specific training to access these schools which are aimed at people in professional retraining. For the inauguration of the School of Business App, Microsoft France also joined forces with the training organizations Social Builder and WebForce3. The first promotion is supported by the company Avanade. a positive result for AI SCHOOL Microsoft France reviewed the performance of the IA School, launched in 2018, in a press conference given on April 13. Its creation was made following the simple observation of a strong shortage of developers and data scientists compared to the needs of companies, with at the same time an ever increasing number of job seekers with unusual profiles but having a particular appetite for professions. digital. Since the launch of the first pilot promotion in 2018, Microsoft has created nine schools, with 15 more expected to open soon. So far the program has trained 502 learners, 33% of whom are women. The school wishes to improve this figure by giving more importance to women in its programs during the coming years. The IA School offers training over 19 months: 7 months of lessons and 12 months of internship. During their professionalization contract, students participate in projects in one of the 110 partner companies of Microsoft for this project. The school records a positive exit rate of 77.5% six months after the end of the internship. The profiles are mainly hired as data scientists or in sales prediction. The school hopes to reach a target of 90% for the coming years, excluding the economic crisis.
