COVID-19 - A source of Educational Disruption
It is critical to determine the impact of COVID-19 pandemic on tertiary education in the UAE and intentions of educators toward educational disruption. This presentation highlights the conclusion of a study that collected data from 123 educators from tertiary institutes of UAE, using a close-ended questionnaire, and semi-structured interviews of students and analysed by applying mixed-method research.
While a successful transition, from conventional mode of teaching to remote classes was witnessed but an important question remains unanswered on who was challenged more and if the perception towards online education will ever change?
