Supporting 21st Century Learning - Expo School Programme (An Expo 2020 Dubai Initiative)
Now more than ever, students can expand their horizons, knowledge, and experiences, outside the walls of their classrooms. Those meaningful and inspiring world experiences help students explore their interests further and learn the skill-sets they would need for their future careers. In this fast-paced, ever-changing world, some of these careers don’t even exist yet.
In this session we will explore how education has evolved over the years and how students need to develop a different skill-set in the 21st Century, to help them prepare for careers of the future. We will look at how we can collectively prepare students for those careers, and empower them to become active contributing members of their communities by leading positive change through innovative thinking and empathy.
Expo 2020 Dubai celebrates values and skills that inspire and empower students. Dedicated to ensure students’ involvement, the Expo School Programme is bringing Expo 2020 into classrooms and turning the Expo 2020 site into an unforgettable educational experience. It aims to continuously support the education sector through several ongoing initiatives, learning resources, and educational programs that focus on supporting students, both in and out of their classrooms.
