Phil Redhead
Founder & Education Partner - EdV Consulting

Phil is the Founder & Education Partner at EdV, a unique, service-led consultancy that drives sustainable international growth for Edtech businesses and education suppliers. With over 25 years of experience in global education, digital transformation and consultancy, Phil is recognised as a pioneer in education innovation. In his early days with GEMS Education, he led the first large scale deployment of iPods and iPads in UAE schools and co-developed and launched the region’s first customised mobile app for home-school communication. A qualified teacher and school leader, Phil has taught and led in outstanding schools in the UK and the Middle East. He led the digital learning transformation of GEMS Education, where he was Group Head of Education Technology and Digital Learning. As Director of Strategy for Future Gate, Phil was responsible for the impact of learning technology in 25,000 public schools across Saudi Arabia. He also led Deloitte Middle East’s edtech business, delivering high profile projects across the region. Phil is an experienced speaker at global conferences, including GESS (Dubai), BETT Middle East (Abu Dhabi), 21st Century Learning Conference (Hong Kong), Harvard Business Review Edaralab (Dubai), USAID Mobile Learning Symposium (Washington DC), Arabnet Digital Transformation Summit (Beirut) and Monshaat Forum for the development of Small and Medium Enterprises (Riyadh). Phil has chaired various technology industry events, including the IoT Integration Summit in Muscat and the Chief Digital Officer Conclave in Dubai, where he was also recognised as The Middle East Digital Disruptor of the Year. Phil’s experience as a large-scale buyer of edtech, together with his expertise in implementation and as a practitioner, enables him, as part of EdV, to provide clients with unique insights into the nuances of successful international edtech sales and sustainable growth.

Sandra Ospina
Principal - SEK International School, Riyadh

Sandra Ospina is the Principal at SEK International School in Riyadh. She has more than a decade of experience in education and has taught from nursery to university level, has developed science curricula, and has held leadership roles in the past few years. Sandra’s educational philosophy centers on nurturing the whole child, which in short means attending to a child’s cognitive, social-emotional, physical, and ethical development while inspiring their curiosity, and creativity.

Clemmie Stewart 
Education Specialist & Former Executive Principal - Beech Hall School, Riyadh

Clemmie has enjoyed over 15 years in the education sector, having taught, led and supported in a variety of settings including state, independent and academy schools. Clemmie has held roles such as Head of School, and Senior Head of Prep Schools and Director of Learning and Teaching.

In her most recent post as Executive Principal at Beech Hall School Riyadh, Clemmie was proud to set up and lead the first fully inclusive school in Riyadh, offering a holistic and innovative curriculum, enabling children to reach and unleash their potential. She also supported educational staff to teach and lead with confidence, developing pedagogy and enhancing the curriculum on offer.

Clemmie now works in Riyadh, supporting educational companies to enter into the market, and deliver on areas such as SEND support and inclusion, and positive behaviour support.

In addition to this, she has delivered a TEDx talk on ‘snowplough parenting’, has co-hosted an educational podcast with Dr Emma Kell, and completed her Masters in Educational Leadership, alongside a Level 7 Apprenticeship. She has also written a book with Emma, looking at how educators can build effective and positive relationships with parents and carers. She has also been listed as one of Business Women in Education’s Women to Watch list, in the Trailblazer category.

Rachael Giles
Executive Head of School - Sherborne Jeddah

Rachael Giles is the Executive Head of School at Sherborne School Jeddah which opened in August 2025. Originally from the UK, she has over 20 years of experience in education and school leadership across the UK and the Middle East. Her career has included senior leadership roles with leading education organisations, including GEMS Education, Liwa Education, and Aldar Education, where she specialised in school improvement, strategic leadership, and achieving high-quality outcomes for students.

Rachael is passionate about creating exceptional learning environments that nurture curiosity, character, and academic excellence. She is committed to building strong school communities where students, staff, and families work together to help every child thrive.

Rachael holds a Master's Degree in Education, the National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH), an Executive MBA in Strategic Leadership, and is currently completing the National Professional Qualification in Executive Leadership (NPQEL).
